DAM

Product images, sized per channel. Linked to the products they show.

Keep images, videos and PDFs in one library, and add them to products and variants.

How it works

One image in. Channel-sized versions out.

One coat, from upload to push.

01Size

Set a channel’s image size once.

Pick width, height, fit, format, file size and background, or start from an Amazon or Flipkart preset. Images added to products for that channel get a copy that size.

02Refresh

Requirements changed? Regenerate.

See how many images are missing, outdated or failed, then regenerate them. Pause, resume or cancel the run.

03Hold

Images not ready? Held back.

Amazon and Shopify pushes hold back products whose channel images aren’t ready. Badges on the product show images still preparing or failed.

More in DAM

The rest of the library.

  • Folders and multi-file upload

Upload up to 20 images or videos at once. Build folders yourself or from a category.

  • Versions you can restore

Upload a new version or restore an earlier one. Channel sizes are rebuilt from it.

  • Permanent CDN links for feeds

Channel sizes and full-size image copies get permanent public links that feeds and marketplaces can load.

  • Image gaps flagged

The Asset intelligence agent flags missing, broken or low-resolution images, and drafts alt text that waits for approval by default.

  • Sourced images, copied in

Web images the Product sourcing agent finds are copied in after review, with their source page and fetch date.

  • Tags for grouping

Attach tags in the app. Create new ones through the API or a connected AI assistant.

Which file types can we upload?

About 20: common web images such as JPEG, PNG and WebP, plus SVG, TIFF, BMP, AVIF, video such as MP4, and PDF. Design and camera files such as PSD, AI, EPS, RAW and HEIC aren’t supported, and neither are Office documents, fonts or archives.

Are images tagged automatically?

Tags aren’t added automatically. Your team attaches them in the app, and new tags are created through the API or an AI assistant connected through MCP. The Asset intelligence agent works from file details such as type, size and dimensions, and doesn’t look at the image itself.

Does it track image rights?

Only where an image came from. For images the Product sourcing agent brings in, CataZenta records the image URL, the page it was found on and the date it was fetched. License terms, territories and expiration dates aren’t tracked.

Do videos get channel versions too?

Channel versions are made for images only. Videos and PDFs sit in the same library as uploaded, without resized versions.

Which channels get these images?

Amazon and Shopify pushes use each channel’s own image versions. Other marketplaces and retailers get CSV or Excel feeds, whose image columns can carry that channel’s size from the CDN. A channel without a size setting uses the original image. The Flipkart preset only sets an image size; it isn’t a Flipkart connection.

Is DAM included with PIM Hub?

DAM is an add-on to PIM Hub. It works on the same catalog, so you can add it when you need it.
